well still jump into Gws every now and then for some pvp.

I've tried wow, Lotro, tabula etc etc, and non have worked for me.
I find Aion similiar to gws in some weird sorta way.
Have been waiting for this to release for a long long time now. Being mmo'less is torture.

What this game needs is definately a large SA base, sucks joining a new game and we are all floating all over the show.

I'm a 37 year old dude also in Pretoria. Amphiptere directed me to this site. Having been a Guild Wars fanboi, I have been following the development of AION closer than the CSN guys follow leads. I've also ordered 2 CE's from BT Games (1 for my friend)

I am trying to hold off and only play the game once it launches, but the temptation to play the Beta is overpowering ...must ....not .....give ......in!

I'm definitely gonna start off with a Cleric (I always go healer as main in MMO's), and then Sorcerer, but I'd love to try out a Spiritmaster as well (hmmm - maybe in the Beta - NO! ...oooh the inner conflict)

Hopefully we can coordinate so all the SA players play on the same server

24 years old and currently jamming the beta. will definately be rolling a Gladiator, tried Templar but from being the meat puppet in Guild Wars and City of Heroes i decided it's time for a change. really loving the game thus far, the quality in the beta is immense so the full release looks bound to be solid

Hi all

PTA based player that will be joining the SA-AION community.
I'm a GW, COD, DOTA ect.. player and as soon as I saw the intro and did some research on Aion I knew that I must try it!

To tell the truth I've never liked the idea of having to pay to play each month but I really hope AION will change my mind.

I'm a 24 year old guy from Joburg. I like long strolls on the beach at sunsets etc...(hehehe) Probably going to be playing an Assassin. Looking forward to the Aion release as I'm pretty sure most of us are hence the reason we've gathered here.

Hello Everyone! (Awesome site!!!)

I found the site through the mybroadband forums after googling "aion", pages from SA to see if any other locals were as hyped for the game as I am

I'm a heavy duty WoW player since just before TBC was released playing solidly as a tank and officer in a pretty successful raiding guild.

I am defenitely gonna be giving Aion a try when its released, I've been trying out the Korean version with a 6 hour trial (lol) and put foot to level 10 as fast as I could to see what the flying system was like. I was completely blown away, I think the game has incredible potential.

I'll probably play a Ranger and join witchever server\side has the larger South African player base. This seems like a game you wanna go in with lotsa friends at your side!

Oh and I live in JHB ftw.
