Magic Resist vs HP stones

Post by Bodhisattva on Wed Feb 10, 2010 3:27 pm

Has anybody ever tried slotting Magic Resist stones as opposed to HP stones?

It seems some level 50 Clerics do this when PvP'ing with great success. Less Fears and CC's proccing means so much more time to get those heals off.

I haven't spent big money on stones, so am very tempted to give this a go.

I havent yet, but I have pages of notes in Excel, of data & info that ive been collecting, & one of those plans is to create a set of Armor stacked with Magic Resist for going up against Castors.

I would agree that even if you dont have them on your main set, create a set with them on & put in your side bar for quick change.

There is currently nothing in the game to compete with a cleric wearing full Miragent/Abyss gear with max MR stones socketed Very Happy
You'll end up with 7000+ HP giving you adequate survivability against most melee attacks and 1700odd MR... basically making you a sorcerer / SM's worst nightmare.

Check out this guys's profile...

This is the way to go, for sure. Cant wait... Razz
