latency unplayable today!

hey guys just wondering if im alone here. my 4mb afrihost line ranging 1000-1500ms today. WTF?

Prob completely unrelated, but, I've been having intermittent ping and connection issues since last week Monday (telkomInternet 4Meg). After giving a couple of the Telkom support guys a piece of my mind the line seemed stable again (from Friday) but I still had ping-spikes and a lot of disconnects in-game over the weekend. Seems the DCs etc were related to the GamePath path I was using (201)... I switched to path 100 and last night seemed a lot better, with pings ranging in the 300-400 range again and no spikes or DC's.

I had to change my Gamepath path as well. Stabilised at about 350ms now although I used to get 250ms so it is a bit worse :S

Has anyone had issues using gamepath with windows 7? are they compatible?
